Cornerstone Christian School Board – Our church, due to its long and close relationship with Cornerstone, nominates one member to sit on the school board.  Cornerstone is a non-denominational private Christian school founded in 1972, located in Chesapeake in the Indian River area (1212 Willow Avenue).

Finance Committee – This group receives, counts, records, and deposits all regular and special offerings.

Union Mission Ministries - For over a century, the Union Mission has served as a beacon of light to needy people.  The Union Mission was founded in 1892 by a group of Methodist businessmen.  From its beginnings as a small shelter in downtown Norfolk, Virginia, to its present status as the capstone of eight different vital ministries in Norfolk and Virginia Beach, the Mission has remained true to its original purpose:

To aid the poor and needy;
To reform the erring;
To help those that are out of the way;
To feed the hungry;
To shelter the homeless;
To preach the gospel; and
To rescue the perishing.
